Amy Archer - Voice
Amy has studied music, played guitar, sang and vocal coached for 15+ years. She grew up in a musical family and began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 7. She has served as Worship Pastor and music director in various capacities since graduating from the Institute for the Arts in 2008. She has a passion to unlock potential in every singer, give them the tools needed to fulfill their musical aspirations, and be all God created them to be! Amy teachers on Thursdays at our west McKinney location inside Brookhaven Church.
Jaylynn Arias - Voice
Jaylynn is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a degree in Music Education. She teaches elementary music in the Frisco ISD and serves as a worship leader for King Jesus Church in Dallas. Jaylynn is passionate about developing vocalists through proper technique, strengthening confidence and authentically expressing themselves through music. She teaches at our downtown McKinney location.
Sarah Kate Eppler - Voice
Sarah Kate grew up in a musical family and began playing piano from the age of 6. She found a love for writing music, while also singing in choir. She earned her Bachelor's of Vocal Performance from A&M University - Commerce,where she studied jazz, musical theatre and pop styles. Sarah Kate currently lives in McKinney with her husband and serves frequently on the worship team at her church. She teaches all ages and levels at our downtown McKinney location on Fridays.
Jacob Mendoza - Drums
Jacob Mendoza is a music teacher and professional drummer. He has studied music and pedagogy in California and Texas for over 8 years. He has participated in studio and live recordings across the United States, and has dedicated himself to teaching music and drums in Dallas, Texas. Jacob has been serving in the worship department at Lakepointe Church and Upperroom church here in Dallas and dedicates most of his time to playing and teaching drums at Christ for the Nations institute and has also helped record and produce drums for multiple CFNI and Lakepointe music projects. Jacob teaches on Saturdays at our downtown McKinney location.
Baylee Callender - Piano
Baylee has been playing piano for 12 years. Her interest in music was sparked through her church choir when she was only four years old and inspired her to start playing piano a couple years later. Since then, her love for music has grown immensely and she has enjoyed performing a variety styles from classical to jazz to praise and worship. Music has become a big influence on Baylee’s life from leading worship at her church to simply playing at home. She loves to share her passion with others. Baylee teaches beginner students on Fridays at our Downtown McKinney location.
Jennie Samuell - Voice
Jennie grew up in a musical family and began formal training with legendary vocal coach Linda Septien in 2005. She soon began writing songs, recording her music and touring with her band throughout Texas. She now lives in McKinney with her husband and four kids and runs a media company in addition to leading worship at her church. Jennie teaches on Mondays and Tuesdays at our downtown McKinney location.
Ryan Pool
Ryan has been playing, touring and recording piano professionally for the past 15 years. His background is classical but his skill set includes such diverse styles as jazz, blues, country and praise and worship. His most recent work includes playing keys for Christian artists Shane and Shane (Worship Initiative) and producing an album for The Village Church (In His Presence: Melodies of Truth). Ryan works with students of all ages and skill levels. He teaches on Tuesdays at our downtown McKinney location.
Mia Poteet
Mia has been playing piano and taking lessons for over 8 years. She has played and performed a wide range of styles from pop to classical to praise and worship. Whether it be playing and leading worship for her church on Sunday mornings, or learning new songs by ear at home, Mia loves expressing herself through music and helping others do the same. Mia teaches beginner students on Mondays at our downtown McKinney location.
Isaac Sebareme - Piano
Isaac has been playing piano for 8 years and has recorded with International recording artists Laura Soullegis and Christ for the Nations Music. He has been teaching piano for 3 years and is a worship pastor and media director at Generation Rise Up Church in Hurst, TX. He teaches on Mondays and Thursdays at our downtown location.
Leila Dandan - Guitar and Ukulele
Leila has been playing the guitar for over 12 years and is currently working towards a commercial music degree with certifications in audio engineering and music business at Collin County Community College. She has spent the past 8 years serving as a worship leader around DFW, with her most recent position being a worship/tech director. In addition to worship leading, Leila enjoys writing, producing, and performing music for her own solo projects. She teaches on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Brookhaven location.
Geoffrey Ashcraft - Guitar and Bass
Geoffrey has been a full-time musician for over 17 years, touring the US, Canada, & UK, recording guitar, bass, drums, and keys for various artists, as well as writing & producing. He has served at several churches and currently leads worship at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, TX. He is excited to bring his experience and passion for sharing music with students to Cultivate.
Sam Frazier - Piano
Sam has been playing piano for 11 years. His love for music started from watching his legendary church pianist from the pews as a young kid. Since then, he has played everything from jazz to classical. He has experienced playing live shows with his country band, at church on Sundays, and many recitals growing up. He loves to teach and share his love for music with students of all ages and skill levels.
Nathaniel Abraham - Piano/Guitar
Nathaniel is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston. For the past 10 years he has worked as an accompanist, multi-instrumentalist, and performer with bands and various artists. He currently serves as a keys player and a music director at Lakepointe Church. Nathaniel teaches at our downtown location.
Megan Abraham - Piano
Megan has been playing piano for over 8 years and is currently pursuing her music degree at Collin County Community College. She loves sharing the joy of playing piano with her students through many genres of music, including worship, classical, modern, and her favorite…movie scores. Meg teaches on Wednesdays at our downtown location.
Nathan Otwell - Guitar
Nathan Otwell has been teaching guitar for 18 years. He serves most weekends as a worship leader at various churches in the DFW metroplex. In 2019 he and his wife founded Cultivate Music Studio to serve the community with music lessons. Nathan teaches on Tuesdays at our Brookhaven location and Wednesdays and Thursdays at our downtown location.
