Overview:

In this camp, students will learn about creating lyrics, melodies, chord progressions and beats using their voices, their instruments and simple recording software. Students will have the opportunity to write a song together with their classmates and walk away with a fully produced recording they can share! The final mixed recording will be available within two weeks of the final class.

*$50 deposit due at registration. Balance due June 29th. $50 sibling discount available.

Class Requirements:

• Students must have prior musical experience.

• Vocalists must be able to sing on pitch and should be comfortable being recorded.

• Musicians must be able to read chord charts and play to a metronome.

• Drummers or percussionists must be able to play to a metronome.

• Students do not have to be enrolled as students at Cultivate Music Studio to join the camp.
